Imposter Syndrome, Ancestral Land & Living in the Now

There's a particular kind of dissonance that comes with living your highest life while still carrying the echoes of who you used to be. That tension has a name: imposter syndrome. And even as the higher self — especially as the higher self — it shows up.
I woke up this morning and stepped into a home that gives me a peace I honestly cannot put into words. A peace I didn't always know was possible for me. My home sits on ancestral land — and every single day that I get to exist in this space is something I don't take lightly. My ancestors rejoice here. I feel it.
And still — the doubt creeps in.
That's the thing about walking as your higher self in a physical reality. Your soul knows exactly where it is. But the old memories? They haven't fully gotten the memo. They show up and whisper: "Don't forget where you came from. Don't forget what almost broke you. What if the rug gets pulled?"
This morning, I used my shower the way I always do — as a conduit. A portal. I let the water carry my words to Source, and I said: I may get down sometimes, but I am so grateful for this life I have created. It feels like a dream. And sometimes that scares me.
But here's what I know: there are only greater things ahead. So the truest expression of my gratitude isn't worry — it's presence. It's living fully inside what I have right now. The peace. The clarity. The understanding. The safety. It all feels so good.
Earlier today, I came home from my morning walk to find my front door locked. I knocked, and my cleaners answered. I had completely forgotten they were coming. And I just... felt grateful.
For some people, having someone clean your home might seem like a small thing. But for me — and for my ancestors — it is everything. It means I have positioned myself to focus on being in the now. To enjoy what is right in front of me. My hands are free to create. And they rejoice with me, especially depending on who shows up. You'd understand if you felt what I feel in this house.
I pulled a card today from my personal deck. It told me to stop overthinking. And it landed, because that's exactly where the imposter syndrome lives — in the overthinking. My soul is settled. But the physical mind? It still holds old data, old fear, old limitations that no longer belong to this version of me.
The beautiful thing is — I have built an environment where Source and my ancestors can reach me clearly. When I drift, they realign me. They bring my frequency back to where it needs to be. And I am so thankful for that.
These are just some thoughts from this now. Random, real, and mine.
Enjoy yourself — and enjoy your now.
