Episode 2: Alchemy for Your Everyday Life

I've been reading about other alchemists for a while now. Their processes, their systems, the way they talk about combining what's real and unseen into something that actually changes their life. And somewhere in the middle of all that reading, I had the wildest idea — what if I built my own recipes? Not borrowed ones.

Because here's the thing. Every element already surrounds me. The planets are already up there, doing what they do. My emotions are already moving through me all day, every day. Numbers show up whether I invite them or not. Temperature, the actual reality around me — none of that is hidden or hard to reach. It's right here. I just had to start recognizing it as something I could actually work with, instead of something that just happens to me.

So that's what I started doing. I began pulling ingredients — a planet, a feeling, a number, whatever the moment offered — and building them into curated recipes, on purpose, the way a chef reaches for what's already in the kitchen and decides what it's going to become.

I've been shaped by other alchemists, by other systems, by years of reading. But — what chef doesn't want to create their own recipes eventually? At some point you stop just following what you were taught and you start cooking from what you actually know.

I've been observing these elements for years now. Quietly, in the background of my everyday life, building a database of what each ingredient actually does — how it shows up, what it responds to, what happens when it touches something else.

I remember exactly when I made the first real "dish," because it happened while I was mid-sentence, still talking it through out loud. I was working two ingredients at once, turning a real question over — did I start this cooking thing during this lifetime, or did I put it in the oven on a different timeline I couldn't consciously remember? And right in the middle of asking it, before I'd even finished the sentence, I heard something. Not from anywhere I could point to. It was a sound like an oven timer going off — the exact sound of an oven telling you something inside it is finally done.

It was unmistakable.

I stopped talking mid-thought. I just stood there in it for a second, because I hadn't asked for a sound. I hadn't imagined one either. I was standing on a beach, nowhere near an oven. The sound arrived on its own, uninvited, answering a question I'd only just asked out loud.

And that's when the download came in. A full understanding, dropped into me all at once, explaining exactly what had just happened: that there's a specific ingredient I was tapping into that lets you find out where you left off on a recipe from a previous timeline. Actually reach back and locate it, to check the status of it. That's what I'd just done, without knowing that was even possible until the moment it was already happening to me.

So let me break down exactly what I was working with, because this is the recipe that taught me the whole system was real.

1 — Self, inside the vessel. Before any of this could happen, I had to already be here — one self, standing inside one body, at one door. This number doesn't belong to a single planet the way the others do. It's the constant underneath every recipe. Nothing opens, nothing reaches, nothing arrives unless there's a self already present to receive it. I didn't add this ingredient on purpose. It's always already there, holding the vessel the rest of the recipe moves through.

Uranus — the doorway. Uranus is rare opportunity, unprecedented movement, vibration itself. Its number is 9, which — no matter how far you multiply it — always folds back into itself, the same way Uranus, tilted almost completely on its side, is always turned in on itself in the sky. Its whole nature is contained in one line I keep coming back to:

"Wherever Uranus takes you, you'll always be there to greet yourself."

Access to it only comes through fully embodying your own self-concept — you can't fake your way through this door. And that day, Uranus is what cracked it open in the first place. Nothing reaches backward or forward across a timeline without Uranus opening the way first.

Pluto — the reach. Pluto is rebirth, and what I've come to call the hollow — a stage where the outer form of something stays completely intact while what's inside is cleared and emptied to make room for what's next. Pluto is also the one that holds time itself in its hands — not just pausing it, but holding both the beginning and the end of a thing at once, the way two hands hold opposite ends of the same rope. Its number is 7, tied to the heart's seven ventricles. Once Uranus had the door open, Pluto is what actually went in — reaching across the held rope to locate the exact point where I'd left off, the specific moment on a previous timeline where that recipe was still cooking, waiting for me to come back to it.

Neptune — the receiving. Neptune is justice, but justice understood as frequency — the difference between being owed something and actually being tuned in enough to receive it. Its number is 6. Its whole domain lives in the ears, in the real, physical gap between the moment your body receives a sound and the moment your brain catches up and understands it as sound. That gap is exactly where Neptune operates, and it's exactly what happened to me — the answer arrived as a sound I felt a full beat before I had any idea what it meant. Neptune is what let it come back to me at all, and in the only form it could travel that fast.

Put those four together — the Self already standing in the vessel, Uranus cracking the door, Pluto reaching through it to the exact point I'd left off, and Neptune delivering the answer as a sound before my mind had caught up to it — and that's the recipe. All I had to do was be consciously aware of what I was doing and saying. The more you pay attention to the energy, the focus gets better.

So that's what happened, mid-sentence, in real time, with no ritual or ceremony. Just a question, asked out loud, and an answer that arrived before I finished asking it.
